Suzlon Energy has signed a contract with Africa's Clean Energy Development (ACED) for the supply and full EPC for 76 of Suzlon's S88 – 2 mega watt turbines, with an option for AECD to acquire an additional 124 turbines for the Cook House Wind Energy facility.
The Cook House Wind Energy Facility is one of Africa's leading renewable energy projects, having received a positive Record Decision from the Department of Environment on May 25, 2010, for the erection of up to 200 turbines.
