Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycle India today reported a 17.68 per cent growth in sales in August at 13,030 units.
August sales for last year was 11,072 units.
"Suzuki's continuous growth month by month is attributed to its product quality and customer satisfaction...This growth momentum will further accelerate in coming months," Suzuki Motorcycle India Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Atul Gupta said in a statement.
The company's latest offering to the market — GS150R — was the major factor contributing to growth of Suzuki's sales, the company said.
