SVIL to pump in Rs 400 cr to strengthen retail network

Delhi based SVIL Mines Limited is all set to strengthen its retail network in the country and would pump in Rs 400 crore to strengthen it retail network in the country by opening as many as 300 retail stores by next two year.   

The company has already established its plant especially for marble processing at Katni in Madhya Pradesh with the investment of Rs 600 cr and after strengthening the retail nework, it was expected that turnover of of Rs 500 cr would be achieved within next three years, Sanjay Dacha, Assistant Vice President (Sales) of the company said while inaugurating the state's first Retail extravaganza here today.   

He claimed that total turnover of the Group, which primarily deals in Sandalwood Oil, was Rs 2300 cr and entering into the field marble processing was under the diversification plan of the company.   

Exclusive retail showroom of the company Cafi Floriana was also present in the cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata.

Through these signature stores, the company would introduce a first of its kind pre-polished cut to size range of marble with distinct identity to compete with the world leaders, including the Italian marble industry, R Sareen Managing Director  Froriana Group said.   

"We are really excited at the launch of Cafi Floriana retail store in Jalandhar. It is a very fresh and innovative concept in India, Floriana Marble will be equivalent to the glaze of mirror and will be unmatched by any other marble brand for its quality, finish, product benefits and applications", he said adding that the Group has a plan to open 10-12 more stores in Punjab in the cities like Chandigarh, Patiala, Ambala, Amritsar and Barnala.
