Havells India (HIL), a leading fast moving electrical goods company, is expecting an overall growth of 10% from the newly-launched entry-level modular switches under the brand name Reo Bliss.

“The company had set a target of Rs 100 crore revenue from the entry-level modular switches category in the next 2-3 years,” MK Agrawal, HIL General Manager, told Business Standard. At present, the company's turnover from switches is about Rs 450 crore that would jump to Rs 550 crore.

HIL today launched Reo Bliss in Chhattisgarh to boost its market share in the Rs 5,000 crore segment across the country. After the mega launch in Chandigarh last month, Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where HIL launched the product that is aimed at customers' looking for pioneering and attractive switches at economical prices. The company expects an overall turnover of Rs 200 crore from Chhattisgarh in financial year 2016-17.

Agrawal said the launch of Reo Bliss was part of the company's strategy to enhance value for money product portfolio, address a wide range of customers looking for exquisite designs and colour palates and facilitate entry into untapped markets and regions. The switches will be available in seven attractive colours and three different combinations that would be the unique features in the product.

The switches would be made from coloured polymers against the general trend of painting the plastic covers that help in retaining colour and shine.
