The board of directors of Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts, which met today, approved a proposal to split shares in the ratio of 1:5 i.e one share of Rs 10 would be split into five shares of Rs 2 each.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the proposal is subject to approval of the members at the forthcoming extra-ordinary general meeting to be held on September 28, 2005.
