German machining solutions provider Heller Group and TAL Manufacturing Solutions Ltd have jointly set up a technology centre at the Tata Motors campus in Chinchwad, Pune.
The TAL-Heller collaboration will support the Indian automobile market with high quality machines and processes to exploit the low cost mechanism, a press release issued said.
TAL, the fully owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd along with Heller has set up a number of manufacturing solution centres for various automotive and engineering companies in India.
The new technology centre will be equipped to provide all support on application engineering, training and other customer services and to ensure best strategy for using machines, tools and systems, the press release stated.
