TalentPro India (formerly Prolease India), a human resource outsourcing services provider, is planning to enter into recruitment of mid and senior level executives. The company is aiming to become a 'one-stop shop' offering all services in HR space.

Sandeep Kanwar, chief executive officer, TalentPro, told Business Standard that the company would be getting into search and selection of mid and senior level executives with salary levels of over Rs 10 lakh per year.

"We want to position ourself as as a recruitment firm for mid and senior level appointments and the recruitment would be the engine of company's growth in the near future," he added.

He said retail and real estate would be the key growth drivers and would generate employments for senior level people over the next two years.

There would be more requirements of mid and senior level executives over the next three years as the multinational corporations, which have set up shops in India, were looking at expansion and growth in the country due to availability of human talent in good numbers, he said.

"We are already offering a host of HR services and we want to become a 'one stop shop' in the segment by providing all services," he said. The multinational companies were opting to deal with some special vendor instead of multiple vendors for their HR issues, he added.

Noting that temp staffing is not meant for low end jobs, Kanwar said temp staffing should move up the value chain. "At present, short term gain was driving the temp staffing and if it moved up the value chain, both employees and employers would benefit" he said.

He also stressed that temp staffing should catch up in manufacturing as it would give them an organised way of doing the work. However, he added that labour laws and unionisation are big deterrents for such efforts.

Temp staffing in India is an about Rs 1600-crore industry and only half of it is in the organised sector, mostly at the low level temping. According to Kanwar, it could be around 1 lakh people in both organised and unorganised sectors (excluding the blue collar).

TalentPro India's present service offerings include staffing and recruitment Solutions, payroll processing, HR Training and Transaction Processing.

ProLease India, a subsidiary of Paystaff, a $ 600 million company has become TalentPro India after its strategic alliance with Talent2 International, Australia's leading HRO provider.
