Talview (previously known as Interview Master), a Bengaluru-based automated video interview platform, has been declared as one of the five start-ups that won the UK-based 'Great Tech Rocketships' contest organised by the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) in partnership with TechHub and iSpirt.
Besides Talview, the start-ups chosen as winners in the contest were Congruent Solutions, FRILP.com, Tone Tag and Agrima Infotech. The winners were part of a delegation which got a chance to interact with local entrepreneurs of London and Manchester and with leading technology companies regarding possibilities of collaborations and joint ventures.
“Also, the UK government offered Talview with free workspace in 'The Landing', a start-up facility which is part of the Media City in Manchester,” Talview said in a press release on Tuesday.
Talview also bagged a one-year membership in TechHub, a community of tech entrepreneurs and startup spaces, providing it access to its co-working centres in Boston, London and Bengaluru. Evaluating the feasibility of making the UK the focal point for foraying into European markets, Talview and the UKTI services team are working together to make this possibility come true, it added.
