Tanla Q1 net up 107%

The Hyderabad-based Tanla Solutions, a provider of integrated telecom services and products, posted 107 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 33.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared with Rs 16.05 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.
 
Total income during the period grew 138 per cent to Rs 94.51 crore from Rs 39.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2006 on a consolidated basis.
 
Earnings per share stood at Rs 6.65, against Rs 4.71 during the corresponding quarter last year, while paid-up equity share capital was at Rs 10 crore, compared with Rs 6.82 crore.
 
"The robust numbers reaffirm the traction seen from its subsidiary business Tanla Mobile, a next-generation mobile application solutions, m-commerce and interactive services," the company stated in a press release today.
