Tata Chemicals Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 96.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 59.1 crore for the same quater last fiscal.According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income (net of excise) increased from Rs 777.6 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 1090 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
