"Two units of DAP at Haldia plant have been shut with effect from April 30, 2013 due to disruption in supplies of phos acid," the company said in a filing to the BSE.
The operations at these two units are likely to resume in mid-June, this year, it added.
Tata Chemicals, a part of Tata Group, is a leading manufacturer of chemicals, fertiliser and food additives.
It is the world's second largest producer of soda ash with manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
The scrip of the company fell by 1.13% to Rs 327.35 on BSE at 1340 hours.
