Drive India Enterprise Solutions (DIESL) today said it has partnered Australia's Quantum Sales and Logistics (QSL) in order to provide after-sales services to telecom and consumer durables players in the country.

"We have partnered QSL to increase our pan-India presence for after-sales service to telecom and consumer durables segments," DIESL CEO Ajay Chopra told PTI here today.

The partnership is aimed at increasing efficiency and turn-around time, he said.

"Traditionally, response time is a problem area for most after-sales companies. We plan to counter the problem with this initiative," Chopra said.

With this partnership, DIESL aims at bringing down response time to 72 hours from an industry average of two weeks.

"Moreover, the initiative plans to enlarge the service footprint riding on DIESL's infrastructure, which boasts of the largest number of warehouses in the country," Chopra added.

Drive India Enterprise Solutions (DIESL) is Tata Group's logistics arm and is jointly held by Tata Industries and Tata International.

The after-sales service industry in India is valued at Rs 10,000 crore, complimenting the penetration of electrical goods across India.
