Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company (TDCV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Motors, has signed a technical assistance agreement (TAA) with Pakistan-based Afzal Motors to assemble its vehicles in Pakistan.The agreement was signed by K O Chae, president of TDCV and Muhammad Ghufran, CEO of Afzal Motors.An official release issued by TDCV said: "The assembly of TDCV vehicles in Pakistan is expected to begin by the last quarter of 2006 at the newly established plant of Afzal Motors in Karachi."The plant will have a design capacity to produce 3,000 commercial vehicles per year on single shift basis, the statement added.
