The company had sold 72,712 vehicles in the same month last year.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales declined to 45,996 units in March, down from 69,160 units a year earlier.

In the commercial vehicles segment, domestic sales declined by 41.28% to 33,356 units from 56,813 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.
For the fiscal ended March 31, 2014, the company posted a sales of 566,695 units, down from 8,10,086 units in the 2012-13 fiscal.
