Vehicle maker, Tata Motors will begin selling its Nano car in six more states from today. These include Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Consumers here can now buy the car directly from showrooms, the firm said.
States where it was already doing open sales included Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. The move to improve distribution follows efforts on the company's part to end the booking model for the world's cheapest car.
