Tata Motors, one of India's major auto manufacturing comapnies registered November total vehicle sales of 54,662 units, up 1 per cent as against 54,108 units in November last year.
With a similar marginal 1 per cent growth in total domestic sales were recorded at 50,419 units in November as against 50,114 units in November, 2009.
The commercial vehicles sales stood at 35,079, up 19 per cent from last year November sales of 29,408 units whereas the passenger vehicle sales saw a dip of 28 per cent to 16,365 units from 22,671 units last year in November.
The Nano sales stood at 509 units.
The exports grew by 5 per cent to 4,203 units from last year November figures of 3,994 units.
NOTE: Tata Motors makes both commercial vehicles and passenger cars, including the ultra-cheap Nano. The figures do not include the luxury Jaguar, Land Rover brands it makes in Britain.
