Tata Power Company today reported a 27% increase in net profit at Rs 257.43 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 202.32 crore in Q2FY07.According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,482 crore from Rs 1,278.13 crore in Q2FY07.
