The new 120 mw unit will be set up along side its existing power plant in Jojobera in Orissa, which will take the capacity at the facility to 427.5 mw.
The cost of the project, which includes a 34-km dedicated transmission line, has been pegged at Rs 370 crore. Sources said the expansion will be funded largely out of internal accruals and some debt.
