Tata Steel is reportedly in talks to acquire a Thailand-based steel company."The deal, at its nascent stage, is expected to be over in a few months time," sources said here today.B Muthuraman, MD of Tata Steel, had said earlier this month that the company is in talks with several companies for acquisition.Tata Steel was also reported to have initiated talks with Anglo American to acquire 79% stake in South Africa-based Highveld Steel.
