Tata Steel today said it has rescheduled its board meeting because of the terror attacks, which shook the country's financial capital last week.
The company's board was scheduled to meet here on November 28 to discuss the financial results of the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2008.
The company would announce the rescheduled date of the board meeting later, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"Due to the unprecedented situation in Mumbai on that date, the above board meeting could not be held," the statement said.
Last week's terror attacks here have left nearly 200 dead and about 300 injured.
Tata Steel was trading at Rs 157.55, up 4.37% in the afternoon trade of the BSE.
