Tata Tea today reported a 27% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 60.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 82.38 crore in Q3FY05.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 812.02 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 807.11 crore in Q3FY05.The company, on a stand-alone basis, has posted a net profit of Rs 62.41 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 27.44 crore in Q3FY05.Total income increased to Rs 281.74 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 241.97 crore in Q3FY05.
