Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has acquired Financial Network Services (FNS), a Sydney-based core banking solutions vendor, for $26 million. This was announced in a release issued by TCS to the BSE today."FNS is the first major international acquisition of TCS. It is of great value as well as strategic in nature," S. Ramadorai, CEO and managing director of TCS, said.
