Mumbai-based Tata Consultancy Service (TCS), India's leading software company will provide annual Application Management Services (AMS) for two years in a multi-million dollar with the Singapore People's Association (SPA).

SPA is a grassroots government organisation under the ministry of community development, youth and sports.

Under the agreement TCS will develop and maintain People's Association business and citizen centric applications including mission critical applications. This involves consolidating its multiple vendor environments allowing for reduced maintenance costs and simplified system administration, a release from the company stated.

This will enable higher process efficiency and staff productivity across the organisation - all these will contribute towards lower cost spent and application maintenance, while improving end user satisfaction and enhancing citizen experience with the agency.

Girija Pande, EVP and head - TCS Asia Pacific, said, "Our expertise in AMS combined with our ability to deliver certainty of results will provide sustained value to People's Association. We have instilled strict quality control procedures and continue to drive more value for our Singaporean clients through increased service quality provided by our team of highly qualified people with local knowledge of culture and processes".
