Tecpro Systems bags Rs 256 cr NTPC order

Material handling company Tecpro Systems today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 256 crore from state-owned NTPC for the supply and installation of coal handling plant in Jharkhand.

The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing, transportation and commissioning of coal handling plant package for Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Block situated in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, Tecpro Sytems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

"We are happy to announce this coal handling order from NTPC," Tecpro Sytems Vice Chairman and Managing Director Amul Gabrani said.

He further said: "We continue to occupy the leadership position in the coal and ash handling space and we are confident of leveraging our core expertise to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities available in the sector."

Tecpro Systems, is an established EPC company, engaged in providing turnkey solutions in bulk material handling systems, ash handling systems, balance of thermal power plant, captive power plants and pollution control systems.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 287.80, up 1.07% from the previous close.
