Galileo India, the global distribution services provider for the travel industry, and Thomas Cook India today announced the introduction of electronic ticketing for air travel in India.
While e-ticketing would be restricted to international travel initially, it is expected to be introduced in the domestic sector soon.
With e-ticketing, passengers can now get an air-ticket booking confirmation by e-mail, fax or any such means.
