Worldex India is organizing India International Machinery & Equipment Exhibition a three-day exhibition on machinery and consumer electronics between May 26-28 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Despite the global economic meltdown, over 200 global exhibitors largely from China, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore have registered to participate in the third edition of the exhibition this year.
The third edition of India International Machinery & Equipment Exhibition or InterMachinery India (IMI ‘09) and the consumer electronics and home appliances is being held in conjunction in order to offer better business opportunities to visitors to the exhibitions and enable them to enter into alliances and network with a larger set of business enterprises.
On display at IMI’09 will be machinery products from all verticals such as construction, machine tools and related products, agriculture and food processing, packaging, sheet metal fabrication, materials and accessories, heavy engineering, whereas the consumer electronics fair will showcase white goods such as domestic refrigerators, washing machine, high-end computers, latest gadgets like PDAs & mobile phones, LAN cables, low voltage electrical cables and small household electrical appliances.
“Indian manufacturing sector would get a boost by such exhibitions as they would showcase the latest technology from the most competitive manufacturing countries of the world. The manufacturing sector in India would also become more competitive by getting latest technology from cost-effective countries like China, Korea and other Asian countries”, said Rajesh Bhagat, Managing Director, Worldex India.
The exhibitions are organized in jointly with Trade Development Bureau Ministry of Commerce The People’s Republic of China (TDB) and China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (CMEC) and supported by All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and Consulate General of People’s Republic of China in Mumbai.
