In order to meet the growing demand of commercial pilots in the domestic aviation industry, Gurgaon-based Indo Pacific Aviation will set up three flying clubs at Hisar, Pinjore and Narnaul in Haryana.

With the setting up of these flying clubs, Haryana will have six flying clubs in the state, as at present they have flying clubs in Hisar, Karnal and Pinjore.

At present, the company operates charter plane service from Palam Airport. So these will be the company's first flying clubs in India. The company has been awarded tender by the Haryana Government for setting up flying club at these places and to impart training in Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Private Pilot License (PPL), Aircraft Maintainence Engineering(AME), etc.

Earlier, the Haryana government called for the tender to build flying clubs at Hisar, Pinjore and Narnaul.

According to sources, about 17 companies showed interest in the project and after technical discussions, 6-7 companies were shortlisted.
