The Chennai Chapter of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), an international not-for-profit organisation, has said it will help colleges set up incubators in their campuses to support entrepreneurship in the state.
Its year-long Technology Business Incubator Programme will see faculty members of over 30 colleges participating.
There would be two programmes - 'Founder Connect', which will help budding founders and entrepreneurs discover, meet and find potential co-founders, and 'Mentor Connect', which will help the young entrepreneurs to meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs.
The regional chapter currently has around 800 members, of which 150 are charter members who invest their time, money and expertise in guiding start ups and entrepreneurs.
