TM International Logistics Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, has registered a 47.71 per cent rise in net profit from Rs 9.39 in 2003-04 to Rs 13.87 crore in 2004-05.
 
The total income of the company increased from Rs 104.13 crore to Rs 139 crore, an increase of 34 per cent.
 
Usha Intl net up 95%
 
Usha International, a Siddharth Shriram Group company has reported a 95 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs1.62 crore for the quarter ended June, 30 2005 compared with Rs 83 lakh during the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
 
Total income has grown by 22 per cent at Rs 134 crore in the first quarter against Rs 110 crore over the same period previous year.
 
Usha Martin net up
 
Usha Martin registered a profit before tax of Rs 20.74 crore in the first quarter ended June 30 as compared to Rs 12.10 crore in the same period last year.
 
Profit after tax to Rs 13.23 crore from Rs 8.15 crore. Revenue from core business registered a growth of over eight per cent at Rs 341.90 crore as compared to Rs 314.39 crore.
 
Cash profit for the quarter stood at Rs 37.07 crore, a growth of 21 per cent. Revenue from exports registered a growth of over 17 per cent at Rs 86.10 crore compared to Rs 73.50 crore.
 
VIP net up marginally
 
VIP Industries Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 5.23 crore in the quarter ended June 30 2005, marginally up from Rs 5.08 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
 
The company's sales for the quarter ended June 2005 is at Rs 102.45 crore, up 2.45 per cent from Rs 99.91 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year.
 
Voltas net up 15%
 
Tata group company, Voltas Limited reported a 14.8 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 16.6 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 14.4 crore in the same quarter last year.
 
The net profit were subdued due to VRS charge of Rs 11.3 crore, incurred during the quarter under review. The net sales for the June ended quarter grew by 31.7 per cent to Rs 455.5 crore as against Rs 345.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
