Torrent Pharmaceuticals has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 26.2 crore in the quarter ended September 2007 (Q2FY08) when compared with Rs 22.85 crore in Q2FY07.According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income rose to Rs 347.87 crore during the quarter as against Rs 323.98 crore in Q2FY07.On a stand-alone basis, the company has posted 45.51% rise in net profit at Rs 37.31 core in Q2FY08 when compared with Rs 25.64 crore in Q2FY07.The stand-alone total income rose to Rs 259.55 crore during the quarter from Rs 230.16 crore recorded in Q2FY07.
