Toyota appoints Naomi Ishii as MD for India

Ishii has spent over two decades at TMC primarily in HR and Business Planning

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd (TKM) today announced the proposed appointment of Naomi Ishii as the new Managing Director of TKML.

He will succeed the current incumbent Hiroshi Nakagawa, who will move back to Japan.

Naomi Ishii has spent over two decades at Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) primarily in Human Resources and Business Planning Divisions.

In his current position as General Manager in TMC, he oversees the Product & Business Planning divisions.
 
The formal appointment of the new MD will be made at the meeting of the Board of Directors of TKM, scheduled on January 6, 2014.
