Toyota Kirloskar Motor hopes to register a gross turnover of Rs 2,700 crore in the current fiscal - an increase of 56 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year. |

Speaking to mediapersons on the launch of Corolla H5 variant, Swamy said, "The current year should be interesting for Toyota as Corolla has been widely accepted. We sold 9,000 Corollas between February and December last year. It has helped us enter the passenger car market in a big way. With Corolla, we have a 42 per cent market share in the executive segment. During this year, we are looking at increased sales of both Corolla and Qualis." |

While Corolla's H1 and the H2 variants have manual transmission, H3 and H4 comprises of auto transmission with leather upholstery. |

The new H5 variant has been launched mainly to cater to customers who were demanding leather upholstry with manual transmission. The H5 variant is priced upwards of Rs 10,74,000 (ex-showroom). |

Toyota plans to sell 12,000 Corollas in the current year. Similarly, it aims to sell nearly 35,000 units of Qualis and 1,200 units of Camry during this year. |

On future plans, Swamy said that the company was "studying" the possibility of introducing a small car as well as going for an incremental capacity expansion at its manufacturing plant near Bangalore. |
