 "Toyota sales rise 10.5% in September")
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited has registered 10.5% rise in total sales of its cars in September 2013 at 15,795 units compared to 14,291 units in September 2012. The company exported 3,780 units of the Etios series last month.
The company sold 12,015 units in the domestic market in September 2013 as compared to 12,115 units in September 2012, a 0.8% decline year on year.

Commenting on the sales Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said, “The market continues to be sluggish. We hope that the market will improve with the upcoming festive season."
