Toyota sells a record 1,005 Corollas

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has announced that Toyota Corolla notched up sales of 1,005 units during the festive season between October 15 to November 14.

The statement from the company said that the high sales were also assisted by festival offers which included over 125 prizes worth several crores.

Officials said though Qualis did not come under the offer schemes, sales have been quite high.

"It is definitely higher than the 3000 units monthly sale. We are yet to ascertain it. However it will reflect in our November sales, they said."
