Toyota Kirloskar Motor, which sold about 1600 units of Innova in June, is expecting to cross the 14,000 mark in South India during the current year, a senior company official said.The company has sold over 4300 units of Innova in South India since its launch in February last, contributing nearly 37% of the total sales in India in June, Sailesh Shetty, deputy general manager (sales), said.Being an important market for both its passenger cars, Innova and multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), Corolla, the company expected sales of 3800 Innova and 600 Corolla in Tamil Nadu out of the targeted sales of 14,000 and 2,500 units respectively in South India during the calendar year, Sailesh said.Corolla has recorded prominent sales in South India and crossed 250 units, commanding about 33% of the market in south in the executive segment, Shetty said.At all India level, the company expected to sell 42,000 units of Innova and 12,000 units of Corolla during the year, Shetty said, adding the company would increase its market share from the present 4.7% to 10% by 2010.
