Tree House Q3 net profit up 16%

Tree House Education and Accessories Limited, the educational services provider in India posted a net profit stood of Rs 6.1 crore for quarter ended 31 December 2011, up by 16.13% from the quarter ended September 2011. The net profit for the previous quarter was Rs 5.27 crore.

The total income for the company for the third quarter stood at Rs. 22.7 crore. The EBITDA for Q3 FY2012 stood at Rs 12.4 crore compared to Rs. 11.3 crore second quarter, with a quarter-of-quarter growth of 9.73%.

Rajesh Bhatia, Promoter and Managing Director, Tree House said, "We remain upbeat about our performance in the final quarter of this fiscal year. Admissions for the next academic year have begun at all our centres and based on the traction and momentum in terms of the new centres and old centres, we are confident of maintaining a strong growth rate in the coming year."
