Iconic British two-wheeler brand Triumph will finally begin retail sales of its premium models in India by November, after a series of flip-flops during the earlier years.
The company said that its completely knocked down assembly plant located at Manesar, Haryana, is in the final leg of construction and will start production soon.
The company will begin sales of Bonneville, Daytona 675 and Rocket in India before moving onto other models. The Haryana facility will be the fifth facility for Triumph and the second assembly facility globally.

While the company has not indicated a price range for its models yet sources say that the range will start just below Rs 500,000 in India with the Bonneville.
Triumph has appointed former Bajaj Auto General Manager Vimal Sumbly as the managing director for India. It is now in the process of appointing dealers across the country.
The company was supposed to begin retail sales in October last year however due to abrupt departure of its MD Ashish Joshi and slow movement of plans relating to the CKD plant the launch date got consistently pushed forward.
Paul Stroud, Director Sales & Marketing (global) said "2013 is a very crucial year for Triumph Motorcycles in India and as a company, we are confident about the timing of our market entry. In the past few months, we have carefully assessed the market landscape and will be making well-honed efforts to provide our discerning customers with a complete brand experience."
The company established in 1902 produces 50,000 bikes per year and is the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the UK. The company had showcased its range at the last Auto Expo held in Delhi.
