Construction of the new plant has started and commercial production will being by January 2009. which will create employment for 1,000 people by 2010-11.Trivitron will invest Rs 170 crore and while the balance Rs 80 crore will be invested by the three foreign partners.
The company has so far acquired 23 acres for the project and is waiting for the government's approval to acquire 2 acre more to convert the MTP into Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The company proposes to manufacture critical care equipment (cardiac care) using in-house technology.
