Scrip of the media house touched an intra-day high of Rs 112.80 crore, a rise of Rs 17 or 17.87 per cent, from previous close of Rs 95.70. The share opened the day at Rs 98.60. Over 1 lakh shares changed hands on the bourse.
A meeting of the board of directors of the company would be held on July 31 to consider buy-back of company's shares, it said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
The scrip was later trading at Rs 109.95, up 14.89 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
