The TVS Motor Company has launched its first metal bodied scooter WEGA here. The company has claimed it as unisex styling and ideal blend of stability, maneuverability, power and mileage with commuting options.
"WEGA is powered by noise-free, all aluminium, low friction engine that has been developed by empowering cutting edge technology," Company official, Srinivasan told reporters, here last night.
TVS WEGA comes with a 110 cc engine that delivers a peak power of 8 BHP at 7,500 rpm. WEGA's other features include an external fuel fill with hinged cap, under seat charger for cell phones.
TVS WEGA's first time features such as 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension and gas filled rear shock absorbers, normally found only in motorcycles, Srinivasan added.
