UAE national airlines are planning to provide more connectivity to Kerala given the high number of Keralites in UAE, according to Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Owais, Ambassador of UAE in India.
There are 475 flights between India and UAE from various destinations. Of these, the three UAE national airlines of Emirates, Ethiad and Air Arabia operate 304 flights per week which represents approximately 64 per cent of the total flights operated in this sector.
Speaking at an interactive meeting organised by Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in association with UAE Exchange, he said the UAE was planning to enhance the bilateral trade with Kerala.
