The employees are providing labour, and if you treat labour as capital, the demand is appropriate." Jibon Roy, general secretary of Coal Workers at Coal India Ltd, differed: "It's utter opportunism. It's a consequence of infiltration of opportunism within the trade union movement." Roy said workers shouldn't claim shares as it could hamper the employer-worker relations.
