Vijay Mallya-led United Breweries (Holdings) today posted 29.78 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 1.32 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 1.88 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 98.64 crore for the reported quarter, as compared to Rs 70.03 crore during the same period of previous financial year, United Breweries (Holdings) said in a BSE filing.
Shares of United Breweries (Holdings) today closed at Rs 91.15 on the BSE, down 1.09 per cent from their previous close.
