UB Group firm United Breweries today reported a whopping 87.1 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 21.91 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 11.71 crore in July-September quarter last fiscal, UBL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Income from operations also rose to Rs 566.91 crore in the September quarter from Rs 412.25 crore in the same period previous year.Shares of UBL were trading at Rs 447, up 1.15 per cent from previous close on the BSE.
