Having hiked its billing rates 3-4% on new contracts and 2-3% on old ones, the company could win more business from the US if the subprime crisis curbs spending there and drives companies to cheaper service providers located in other countries. At the same time, the company would like its share of revenues from Europe to contribute 30%, up 4% from the present and the US contribution to come down from 60% to 50%. In the ideal mix, the rest of the world would account for 20% of its revenue, compared with 14% now.The company doesn't plan to change its earnings forecasts as its back-office unit, which provides services such as call-center operations, hasn't yet seen an impact from the mortgage issue.GreenPoint Mortgage, a subsidiary of financial services company Capital One, which contributed 3-4% of Infosys BPO revenue, declared itself bankrupt on August 20.
