Oceana Therapeutics, a US-based company, has entered into a multi-year exclusive agreement with Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, giving rights to the sale and distribution of Deflux in India. The drug is used in treatment of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), a malformation of urinary bladder that affects children, according to a press release. The comp-any has not disclosed any further details regarding the tie-up, the exclusive worldwide sales and distribution rights of which it acquired from a Swedish company in June 2009.
