Valdel to acquire Filipino contact centre

Valdel Xtent, the Bangalore-headquartered $25 million BPO service provider, is planning to acquire a 1,000 seats contact centre in the Philippines. It has done an initial round of identifying possible acquisition targets and the process is expected to be completed within the current fiscal.
 
This comes in the wake of the company's acquisition of a contact centre, Anipoint Group in the UK, which has a total strength of 500. Valdel has an expanding contact centre in Bangalore with close to 350 seats and a centre in the US with 500.
 
No comments were available from the company. Valdel Xtent is the BPO and contact centre services arm of the $150 million Valdel Corporation which has interests in offshore engineering and retail.
 
Valdel Corporation was carved out from the construction company M S Ramaiah Group. Xtent has a strategic alliance with Results Companies Inc, one of the leading US-based BPO service providers.
 
The company is adopting this acquisition strategy to widen its service offerings through its global fulfillment model which allows customers the flexibility of multiple sites networked across the US, UK and India along with a single point management framework. Multi-skilled and multi-lingual "" English, French, German, and Spanish "" agents offer enhanced business continuity.
 
Xtent currently manages over a million transactions per month across interaction management, process support and fulfillment services to companies in the telecom, retail, financial services and travel and hospitality in the US and UK. The support services adopt inbound, outbound and web-related mediums of delivery.
