Valecha Engineering's joint venture has secured a contract worth Rs 133.60 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for construction of Chittorgarh bypass in Rajasthan.According to a release issued by Valecha Engineering to the BSE, the highway project envisages construction of four-lane divided carriageway and partial access controlled highway by widening with rigid pavement.The project would be executed within 24 months and a letter of acceptance in this regard has been received from NHAI on May 12, 2005, the release said.The length of the project includes 29.6 km, including a major bridge, railway overbridge, flyover and toll plaza, besides 14 underpasses, the release added further.
