Nashik-based wine manufacturer Valle De Vin will invest Rs 30 crore on expansion and increasing its product portfolio to achieve the sales target of one million bottles per annum within three years.
"For the next three years, our focus will be on building upon growth of the Zampa brands and we have set a target of sale of one million bottles per annum. The company has earmarked a budget of Rs 30 crore for the purpose," Vallee De Vin Director Ravi Jain told PTI.
The company would spend the money on expanding manufacturing capacity and strengthening its sales distribution network in the country, Jain said.
Besides, the company is also planning to launch exclusive wine bars in Maharashtra which would help it promote its brands, he added.
Speaking about the portfolio, Jain said the company would add two more wines under the Zampa category – Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Shiraz -- this month. It would also launch Zampagne (a champagne) in two variants, Brut and Rose, later.
"In the next three years, we are planning to take the number of variants to 10 from current three," Jain said.
Vallee de Vin has a manufacturing capacity of 500,000 bottles annually which can be doubled to a million. Its vineyard is spread across 70 acres and another 100 acres is under contract farming and it is looking at increasing the acreage to 150-200 acres in the next 3-5 years.
