Vasu group launches medicines under its brand name

The group has a Rs 400-cr annual turnover in the pharmaceutical distribution business

Hyderabad-based Vasu group, which is into pharmaceutical distribution business, has expanded its operations into marketing of various formulations under its brand name. Vasu Organics Private Limited, the formulations arm of the group, has initially launched formulations in gastro, ortho, ENT and general medicine along with gynaecological and paediatrics segments, Bhanu Murthy, group chairman, said today.

These were sourced from contract manufacturers having all the regulatory approvals, according to him. The group has a Rs 400-crore annual turnover in the pharmaceutical distribution business.
